The Massage Therapy Courses integrates theory and hands-on training, providing students with the skills necessary to effectively assess clients' needs, prepare theraputic treatment plans and apply appropriate massge techniques. Beginning with instruction in anatomy and physiology, students build on this foundation of knowledge by learning contraindications to massage and principles of assessment. Students then learn massage theory for common massage modalities including Chinese Massage Tuina techniques and Accupuncture Meridian Point Massage, combining Western Swedich and Deep Tissure Thechnics, and begin practicing their massage skilles under the supervision of certified massage therapy instructors.
Currently we have 3 level Massage Therapy Program in order to meet the different requirements of different Ststes, which are 500 Hours, 650 hours and 750 Hours. Their basic theroy courses are the same, only the hands-on courses are more or less. Students can finish 500 hours program, and then upgrade for other two programs.
